Overview of Day #3 (Friday, Feb 6, 2015) – Don't miss these sessions!

Another early morning! Hope the spirits don’t flow too freely tonight. The final industry-sponsored symposium starts at 0645 and is titled, "The Language of Change: Using Motivational Communication to Better Patient Outcomes."

At 0845, the second plenary session begins. This session is sure to be interesting with topics ranging from mortality in vulnerable Canadians with SLE, withdrawal of immunosuppressants in lupus patients, developing system level performance measures for evaluating models of care for IA, femoroacetabular impingement in indigenous populations, and the influence of drug exposure on joint replacements in rheumatoid arthritis patients.

The second set of workshops begins at 1015 and includes some of the same topics from Thursday as well as some new ones including gluten-related disorders, uveitis, scleroderma, hip and knee replacement for rheumatologists, and human resources for small businesses.

At 1130 the Distinguished Investigator Awardee for 2015 will be presented. This year’s recipient, Dr. Hani El-Gabalawy, will present his keynote address titled "Preventing Rheumatoid Arthritis: What We’ll Need to Know Before we start Navigating this Uncharted Territory."

The CRA Annual General Meeting and Lunch begins at 1245. You must be a CRA member to attend this meeting.

The Second Poster Session (#117-230) begins at 1615.

The day will conclude with the Annual CRA Gala Dinner & Dance, beginning at 1900.
