The best way to stay organized at ACR 2015 is by downloading the official ACR 2015 Meeting App (Simply search "2015 ACR Meeting" in the App Store or in Google Play. Otherwise, download the app via the itunes store or from google play.)

Sunday, November 8, 2015 is the first day of the official scientific meeting events. Each day, I’ll highlight a few sessions that piqued my interest. These sessions are all included in your general registration fees.

0730

  • Year in Review: Basic Science starts at 0730 and Clinical Rheumatology starts at 0800

1100

  • ACR Plenary Session 1: Discovery 2015

  • Immunology Boot Camp 1: The Basics of Targeted Therapies

  • Peripheral Neuropathy in Rheumatic Disease

  • Update in Antibody Testing: The clinical significance of ANA and ANCA

1300

  • Immunology Update on B cell Biology

  • Vasculitis Mimics

1430

  • Concurrent Abstract Sessions: There are a whole host of concurrent abstract sessions with something to please everyone. You'll find me at either the Rheumatoid Arthritis - Biologics session or Tech Tools for Rheumatologists.

  • The Great Debate: I can't believe we're still debating the long-term use of low-dose corticosteroids in RA. If you're interested in seeing a really lively rheumatology debate go to the Canadian Rheumatology Meeting - the debates are really sharp and hilarious. They're also followed by a giant dance! Gotta love those Canadians.

  • The Red, the White and the Blue: Digital Color Changes and the Rheumatologist: This looks like a neat talk to go to.

1630

  • Annual Meeting Tweet Up: This is an informal event where the "twitter folk" can meet in person.

  • Concurrent Abstract Sessions: There is another smorgasbord of concurrent abstract sessions with something to please everyone.

  • Biosimilars in Rheumatology: Sounds like more of a political discussion about regulatory issues and state by state rules.
