Nothing Like A New Pair of Flats in San Francisco

November 10 2015 3:00 PM ET — via RheumReports RheumReports

It is no surprise that walking is San Francisco is a workout.  Hills are abundant in every direction and proper footware is a must!!

On my first day in the city I met several women shopping in Macy's for the perfect flat to get them through the conference - looking for that ideal match of fashion and function.  San Francisco is in the top three shopping cities in the United States, however, the low Canadian dollar left me leary.  To my surprise, the Michael Kors collection of shoes was bigger than most entire shoe departments at home,  and had 30% off many styles with an additional 40% off  at the check out!!  I couldn't resist.  Five pairs of shoes later,  I walked out of the store ready to face the city and wondering how I would fit the purchases in my luggage.

I am in love with this hilly city already!!
