Welcome to London, for a Repeat Performance of EULAR

June 8 2016 4:53 PM ET via RheumReports RheumReports

Last time EULAR was in London, in addition to learning some science and eating great Indian food, I had the opportunity to be there longer and saw Wicked, Billy Elliott and War Horse. This year I will go to Kinky Boots (last minute tickets for a mere 30 pounds with hopefully a not too obscure view) and the Book of Mormon.

Having a meeting here allows for access (with the supplied EULAR registration Oyster card) to go to so many great places (restaurants, museums, shopping, wandering around, etc.). So, I don't mind if I have to hear several times during the commute "Mind the Gap". … I am still looking for shopping at the Gap.

Of course for Bowie fans, there is this week only the Fame, Fashion, Photography Bowie exhibit and the Queen may have us over for her 90th smashing birthday on Saturday.

One odd thing is that the locks on the toilets (not washrooms) at the convention centre are green when occupied and red when vacant. I guess it is the 'Green Go' philosophy.

Cheers, have a cup of tea or eat those bangers and mash (peas)  and enjoy the meeting.

PS see a pic of the Pope with the Queen.
