SLICC Group Meets at ACR 2014

Lupus is a multi-system autoimmune disease in which adverse long term outcomes remain a major challenge. This is the focus of the Systemic Lupus International Collaborating Clinics (SLICC), made up of 36 members in 32 centers across North America, Latin America Europe and Asia. Their inception cohort made up of 1837 patients were recruited between 2000 to 2011. The cohort is followed on an annual basis with clinical and laboratory features of SLE and co-morbidities recorded in a standardized protocol. Major areas of research interest include atherosclerosis, neuropsychiatric events, and malignancy in SLE.Learn more about the SLICC groups research and their latest findings at the following sessions presented at ACR over the next few days.
