Terri Lupton, RN, has been involved in the field of Rheumatology for 25 years. She is currently a Nurse Clinician with the Division of Rheumatology for Alberta Health Services in Calgary, Alberta, where her primary role is Triage Nurse for a group of 13 rheumatologists.

Ms. Lupton has managed numerous clinical research trials and was the National Coordinator for the Patient Partners in Arthritis program in Canada for 10 years running. It was here, working directly with patients, that Ms. Lupton recognized the true impact of rheumatic disease on patients' lives. This fueled her passion for rheumatology and her drive to advocate for patients with arthritis.

Ms. Lupton is on the Arthritis Society Advisory Board (Alberta Division), The Arthritis Alliance of Canada Board of Directors, and was the Sponsorship and Marketing Chair for the Arthritis Health Professions Association for the past six years.
